WISCOMP in partnership with Cotton University, Guwahati conducted a three-day dialogue-cum-training workshop for faculty, senior administrators and students on ‘Gender Equity and Inclusion: Transformative Pathways in Higher Education’, at the university from 11-14 March 2019. The workshop was supported by Public Affairs Section, US Embassy, New Delhi. Eminent gender experts and educators from the US and across India facilitated the participatory workshop, with participation drawn from Jadavpur University, TISS Guwahati, Guwahati University and other higher education institutes in and around Guwahati. It also included student representatives and researchers from Cotton University as observers. A Concurrent workshop was conducted with the undergraduate and post-graduation students of the Cotton University on masculinities, gender and media, safety audit through Safetipin App.
